Bongbong disowns Marcos loyalist Lozano: No idea about compromise deal on ill-gotten wealth

The camp of former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Tuesday denied any involvement IN A compromise agreement concerning his family’s alleged ill-gotten wealth submitted to Malacanang by Marcos loyalist, lawyer Oliver Lozano.

“The Marcos family has no knowledge or information on that apparent exchange and service of document between Atty. Lozano and the office of Sec. Sal (Salvador) Panelo,” Marcos said.

“As a point of information, Atty. Oliver Lozano does not represent any member of the Marcos family or the estate of the late President Ferdinand Marcos,” the former senator said in a text message to reporters.

His legal counsel, Vic Rodriguez also claimed the same, reiterating that Lozano does not represent any member of the Marcos family.

“Let me respond by saying in a very clear manner that the Marcos family has no knowledge or information of that apparent exchange and service of document between Lozano and the office of Sec. Sal (Panelo),” Rodriguez said.

While Malacanang confirmed receiving the said information, Palace officials denied striking any deal with the Marcoses.

Panelo said his office received a draft from Lozano and as a matter of courtesy and policy, they acknowledged receipt of the document sent to his office.

“No action has been taken on Atty. Lozano’s proposal,” Panelo was quoted saying.
